Bangalow Bowlo

SECURING THE FUTURE TOGETHER

A Partnership Built on Experience, Capability and Proven Results

In January 2022, the Bangalow Bowlo Board and management were advised by the accountant to look at other options due to the club’s precarious financial situation. This opinion was backed by the auditor. After multiple Covid lockdowns and severe weather and floods badly affecting revenue and completely draining capital reserves, they were, and remain, dangerously close to insolvency.

Since then, there have been many member and community meetings to discuss the prospect of amalgamation with Norths Collective, a solution we feel to be an ideal cultural and community fit for amalgamation. We are in the business of running clubs – and making them better by embedding them within their local community and with the local sports clubs.

The Bangalow Bowlo and Norths Collective have reached an agreement and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), creating a clear path forward for the Bowlo to be financially secure well into the future. This MOU will be voted on by eligible financial members Sunday 13 November, 2022 at 11am.
