MAKING REAL CHANGE FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW

We understand the significance of the role we play in our community and we’re making real change as leaders in sustainable practice across our sector, focused on finding innovative sustainable ways to grow, while protecting the planet and the resources we have left.

We’ve used 1.4 mill kWh less electricity – equivalent to taking 244 homes off the national grid

Through our water-saving measures, we’ve saved 9.5 Olympic-size swimming pools of water. That’s 34% down on last year alone.

Through using less energy in our everyday activities, we’ve saved 257 cars’ worth of CO2 emissions.

And we’ve installed a PulpMaster System in the kitchen to remove food waste from the general waste collection and put it into fertiliser production instead.

We’ve also installed low flow taps and showerheads for water savings and swapped to LED lights to save energy because every little bit counts.

WE’VE SAVED $1.3MILLION IN ENERGY AND WATER IN 4 YEARS

We are serious about our commitment to measuring and managing our environmental impact and have achieved ground-breaking savings with global energy management experts focusing on digitization and smart technology to monitor, analyse and report on our sustainability measures and practices. This is important for protecting the planet, for our current and our future generations as both today and tomorrow matter. Our focus on the path between today and tomorrow and while running the operations of our businesses efficiently, how we can have the greatest impact on long-term sustainability.
